Handmade Hub has been created during South African lockdown, and growing quickly. I am Pam, and started the site out of necessity – most home crafters and artists don’t have the resources and time to provide adequate advertising, and web based selling sources. I myself try to support myself by selling crafted items.

The aim is to help local artists & crafters sell their work online. We are building a community of extraordinarily talented artists and buyers that love to support local, and buy truly unique gifts, home décor, crafted edible goods, textiles and lots more.

Creating art can be beneficial throughout all stages of life. It can help children be better students and improve quality of life for seniors. It relieves burdensome stress, encourages creative thinking, boosts self-esteem, and provides a sense of accomplishment. It can make you an all-around better, happier person.

Visit the website www.handmadehub.co.za to support these artists, in very trying times!

Here are just some of the beautiful products available on the site …

If you are a crafter yourself, and want your own page on the site, contact info@handmadehub.co.za for information.

How it works:

Sellers – if you craft or make anything by hand that you would like to sell – we encourage you to post on the Facebook Page when we post about crafts – www.facebook.com/handmadehubZA. Alternatively, for a small fee you can have your own online shop page on the website. Handmade Hub handles the admin of paying your and arranging shipping of your product to the client.

Buyers – So many South Africans want to support local business where they can. Who wants mass produced, moulded plastic “stuff”. We want to gift friends and family beautiful products made with love, and have special meaning. Buyers also want beautiful art pieces made locally that are unique and fit in with their décor and lifestyle. On www.handmadehub.co.za you can order directly online and your item can be collected from the crafter, or couriered to your door.
